Overview

Established as a boutique digital marketing consultancy focused upon the holistic needs of marketers, advertience is seeking to expand its team to include a dynamic and personable ‘Client Account Manager’ who possesses a passion for digital. This role is ideally suited for a savvy digital enthusiast that wants to be a part of a growing digital consultancy.

SUMMARY

The Client Account Manager is responsible for developing and managing client relationships by maintaining client expectations and ensuring the timely and successful delivery of digital projects according to client needs and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executives, providing customer service and marketing consultation
  • Create and deliver marketing strategy documentation and help develop new opportunities for prospective clients
  • Work with internal resources to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Monitor and communicate daily/monthly/quarterly changes in scope throughout the project lifespan to the client(s) and internal resources in a timely fashion
  • Work with internal teams to forecast, track and communicate client performance reports
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement
  • Prepare and deliver account status reports to internal stakeholders
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Continuously support the business and business growth with other responsibilities as assigned

Education

  • Post-Secondary Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Advertising, Marketing Management, and/or Communications or related field

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a marketing organization in roles such as Account Manager, Account Executive, Junior Account Manager or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a client-facing position, combined with 2 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media, Content Marketing or Marketing Strategy, and 1 year of experience working in an advertising agency environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including Executives
  • Effectively delivered client-focused solutions aligned to customer needs
  • Supported, internally and externally, all aspects of client relationships with keen attention to details
  • Practiced strong time management, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Able to work in a multi-functional team environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Familiar with project management tools such as Asana and Slack
